Microsoft has announced the next batch of games hitting Xbox Game Pass, and there are a few gems among them.
Leading the pack is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Traveller’s Tales’ latest blocky do-over of the galaxy far, far away. It’s something of a series reboot, throwing out the arcade feel of past games for more involved combat mechanics and quests. It covers the entire film franchise, too, so you can see the sweet, sweet vehicles and characters of every Star Wars era recreated in Lego.
Xbox Game Pass will also add High On Life later in the month. The comedy sci-fi FPS was co-created by Justin Roiland of Rick & Morty fame, and looks to have almost exactly the same vibe: lots of silly characters, irreverent humor and biotechnological alien worlds. It also features a sentient gun, which can morph into different weapons on the fly, each sporting a different personality – and a different voice of Roiland.
Potion Craft should also be on your radar. Described as an “alchemist simulator”, it’s a placid sandbox puzzler with a gorgeous art style based on medieval manuscripts – a bit like that other recent standout Xbox Game Pass release, Pentiment. It’s unlikely to ever make its way onto our list of the best Xbox Series X games, but its experimental mix of crafting and commerce is a delight.

It’s been a good couple of months for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Battlefield 2042 was added to the platform last month. It came as a surprise but should go some way to buoy the shooter’s ailing player count. On top of that, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can get three months of Apple Music and Apple TV for free. Not bad at all.
