⌛ You’ve got until March 31, 2023 to claim it
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can grab a free three-month trial of Apple TV+ and Apple Music right now.
The offer is available to anyone who’s subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and isn’t currently a member of Apple TV+ or Apple music. It’s up for grabs until the end of March 31, 2023, so you’ve got a while to claim it.
When you do fancy bagging the freebie, head over to the Perks section of your Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One or Xbox app on PC, find the giveaway and follow the instructions. You can claim the free three-month trial for Apple TV+, Apple Music, or both.
It’s the latest perk Microsoft has rolled out for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Every month they release more goodies, which usually involve free downloads of popular games. Fortnite skins, Fall Guys costumes, and in-game bundles for first-party Xbox games like Halo Infinite and Fallout 76 are usually among them. Although they’re minor cosmetic freebies, they add even more value to the service outside of handing you some of the best Xbox Series X games to play.
Apple TV+ is home to a bunch of popular original TV shows and movies, including Ted Lasso, Mythic Quest and Severance. Apple Music, meanwhile, is a standard streaming service that features over 100 million songs.
Unfortunately, now’s a particularly irritating time to get hooked because the price of both services has just gone up. Subscribers to Apple Music have to pay an extra $1 each month, while the cost of Apple TV+ has increased by $2 – that’s an increase of 40% for Apple TV+ and 10% for Apple Music.
It’s a good time to be an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, though. This month has brought a bumper crop of acclaimed games to the platform, including Obsidian’s new murder mystery Pentiment and hit roguelite Vampire Survivors. EA recently announced Battlefield 2042 will be heading to the service, which Microsoft is still strongly backing even though Xbox Game Pass missed its subscriber target for the second year running.
