Attention Walmart+ shoppers, the next Walmart PS5 and Xbox Series X restock date and time has been confirmed: next week, Monday, November 22 at 4pm ET/1pm PT, exclusive to Walmart+, according to the official Black Friday Walmart flyer.

November 22 is just four days before most Black Friday deals begin, and since it’s exclusive to Walmart+ members, you may actually have a chance at finally buying the PS5 or Xbox due to Walmart’s low barrier to entry: $13/month or $98/a year.

PS5 Disc, PS5 Digital and Xbox Series X restock on Monday, November 22
🌟 Walmart: PS5 | PS5 Digital | Halo Xbox | Series X | Series S

Get it: It’s Walmart+ exclusive so you need the non-free-trial version
Again, the 14-day Walmart+ trial will not give you early access. It won’t work.
Spend $13/month on Walmart+, then cancel if you don’t want to use it. Or opt for $98/year (if you’re a loyal Walmart shopper). It rivals Amazon Prime
The PS5 and Xbox restock is part of a four-hour early window for Walmart+ Black Friday shoppers. But consoles won’t last, obviously
Games will also be on sale (I listed many titles below) from $40 to $15
No word on Nintendo Switch OLED or Halo Infinite Xbox Series X. I’ll tweet it and send a 🚨 when they’re in stock.
Walmart PS5 and Xbox restock live stream
📺 On November 22 at 12pm ET/9am PT (three hours in advance), I’ll have a Walmart PS5 and Xbox Series X live stream to walk you through buying the consoles with Walmart+ and offer the best strategy on how to checkout with success.
🎁 I’ll also do a Halo Xbox + PS5 + Nintendo Switch OLED giveaway during it. Set a reminder.
This early date reveal and the Walmart+ barrier to entry is good news (I’ll explain), but it won’t be easy getting this PlayStation 5 restock from Walmart, I can assure you.
How the Walmart PS5 and Xbox Series X restock will work
This PS5 and Xbox Series X restock will be exclusive to Walmart+ members, meaning you’ll need to be a part of Walmart’s Amazon Prime rival, which also has free shipping among other perks like discounted gas. You need to spend either $13 for the month – or $98 for the year if you fancy the service.
Both consoles will be sold for MSRP: the PS5 Disc price is $499 and the Xbox Series X price is $499, according to the Walmart Black Friday ad. In tiny print, it says the PS5 Digital version will also be on sale for $399 at the same time, though I always caution you and the rest of my Twitter followers that PS5 Digital inventory is always a lot lower at retailers in the US.
Will Walmart+ be required to buy PS5 and Xbox Series X?
Walmart+ members get a four-hour headstart on shopping early Black Friday deals with the US retailer; the November 22 restock time is 4pm EST / 1pm PST. That means everyone else can shop Walmart’s Black Friday deals at 8pm EST / 5pm PST.
And, before anyone asks “do I really need Walmart+ to get the PS5?,” do think about that. The PS5, the hottest video game console in the world, won’t be for sale for more than four minutes (maybe four seconds) never mind four hours. You’ll have to pony up at least $13 for the console, bringing the total PS5 price to $512 before sales tax which is different depending on where you’re at in the United States.
I should also note that Walmart will not sell these consoles in stores on November 22. This is the sign you’ll see if you ever stop by your local Walmart’s video game section.
Walmart will have PS5 and Xbox Series X games for sale
The three consoles (PS5 Disc, PS5 Digital and Xbox Series X) won’t be alone on November 22. Walmart+ members will also be able to snag some low prices on PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and even PlayStation 4 games.
They’re categorized into special prices:
🛍️ Live now: All current Walmart video game deals
$40 for Fary Cry 6 (already on sale), Zelda Breath of the Wild (already on sale), Zelda Link’s Awakening, Paper Mario: The Orgagomi King, and Splatoon 2
$30 for Madden NFL 22, Guardians of the Galaxy, FIFA 22 (on sale for Xbox Series X), NHL 22, Sackboy and Just Dance 2022
$25 for Deathloop, Back 4 Blood, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Mass Effect Trilogy
$20 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Resident Evil Village, The Last of Us Part II, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and MLB: The Show
$15 for Watch Dogs: Legion, Grand Theft Auto 5, Minecraft Dungeons: Hero Edition, LEGO Worlds, and Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
There are tons of other next-gen games that will be on sale during the Walmart+ Black Friday four-hour shopping window. It should be noted that some of these titles are already at or close to these prices at Walmart rivals.
For example, Amazon has Fary Cry 6 on PS5 for $40, and Fary Cry 6 for Xbox Series X for $40 today. But a majority of these are brand new discounts. And a lot of parents have been holding off on buying video games until they can secure a PS5 or Xbox Series X restock, so the timing is rather perfect.
Will Walmart have Nintendo Switch OLED and Halo Xbox in stock?
The Walmart November 22 Black Friday ad leak doesn’t indicate whether or not there will be a Nintendo Switch OLED restock or limited-edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X restock.
The Halo Xbox console was in stock at Best Buy (in stores) and also Amazon and Antonline (online) on Monday, November 15. Neither None of these stores took pre-orders for the limited-edition Halo console despite having been allotted. There were a lot to go around – if you were fast enough.
I’ll keep updating this news story in case that information becomes available for Walmart. I do see the original Nintendo Switch bundled with Mario Kart 8 for $299 as part of the same Walmart Black Friday ad. That’s a Black Friday deal that sells out every single year.
In other words, this Black Friday won’t be any different from last Black Friday, except you may have to spend $13 to buy a PS5 and Xbox Series X, a very low barrier to entry that’s meant to ward off bots and resellers from getting multiple systems.
See you in my YouTube live stream chat on November 22 at 12pm ET/9am PT, where I’ll answer questions for three hours beforehand. Set a reminder today.
Do you think there will be any other Walmart restocks beforehand? I'm just trying to see if I should wait until later or get the W+ now. Thanks!
Hey Matt, I’m wondering if halo limited edition xbox x might possibly maybe be stocked at Walmart during that time?
