Do you have to sign up again after each PS Direct restock? I signed up months and months ago, I've never seen an invite. Do I need to keep re-registering after each drop?
Late to this, but I signed up before launch in 2020 and finally received an invite June, 2021. Something like eight months. Like Matt says, though, pay attention daily to your inbox. I got the email on the 15th ... didn't see it until the 16th ... and the chance to buy was the 17th.

Yes. Show up 5-10 mins ahead of time, even though the button says go at 11am PT. Also, if you didn't succeed today and there's another restock (there's one tomorrow), then you'll have another shot – just no second email warning about it... click the same button in your email. Thanks, Matt. I was able to get one today! I hit the link about 15 minutes prior to the posted time. It initially said my wait was 2 hours, but within a couple minutes that changed to only 4 minutes. In even less time than that, I was allowed to make my purchase of the disc/Horizon bundle. Sony made it really simple! Hopefully these comments will help someone else. Thanks again, Matt
How long does it take for PlayStation direct to ship the ps5? I got mine yesterday through the email invite exclusive queue at 2:13pm eastern. I also chose the express 2 day delivery. But as of 5 minutes ago it still says preparing shipment.
I was in this passed sony direct invite (May 26th) and for some reason I couldn't check out, it wasn't taking my card even though I literally used it 2 hours before to get a controller. Is it possible for me to receive another invite or is it unlikely?
Hey man, i'm from brazil. My sister is going to NY on april 4th, and im kinda lost here. My plan was to buy the ps5 on the amazon restock, and send it to the hotel that she will stay until 04/15. Do i need to use VPN to buy in the Amazon US? How can i not miss it? Its my only chance, i already subscribed! Please help me man

Nope. You only need to register once. I'll send out an alert if Sony ever changes things again (last time it changed its system was October).

I haven't received an invite since the january 25th restock and i believe over the summer prior to that :/

As an update, the PS5 I ordered yesterday ALREADY ARRIVED this morning thanks to free express shipping from PS+!!!
