I just bought a msi claw 8 look great feels great but the benchmark "test" dont represent anything i experience at all on the console. I have actually returned the console, after an instalation that take most part of a full day probably like 20 reboot the setup took more than double the time of my rog ally and probaly 5 time as long as setting up a steam deck.... i used an xbox game for reference starfield average frame rate was inferior to a original rog ally and the same as a deck. I fiddled with the setting on the msi wich i did not have to do on any od the other console. The ai function after instalation was giving me 25 fps during gameplay and actually crashed in town. After manually setting power, resolution and all (painfull process take about 30 mins) i got to an avergage of 32 fps. Underwhelming to say the least. I find it funny that all the early review praise the console as the best ever but now the regular people are starting to review it the general opinion is that it is between a rog ally and the x model... barely better than the ally other than display and battery ( easy solution is to buy an external battery 50$ gives me 2 extra hours on aaa games. And the price is way off for what you get.
