When do you think you will be able to post your full review? Is the Pixel Watch 3 still under embargo? If so, when does that lift? It looks like full reviews are coming out for the Pixel 9 phones but, I haven't seen anything yet on the watch. Not trying to rush your review as I'd like it to be honest and based on a decent sample set. I would just like to preorder but, don't want to until I've seen a couple honest reviews. Thanks!

Hi David. The review will go out first to subscribers of The Shortcut *closer* to the official September 10 release date. Note: my the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL review went live one day ahead of that phones release date: https://www.theshortcut.com/p/pixel-9-pro-xl-review

You'll definitely get an honest review (and appreciate if you use our Best Buy links when you order (if that's your store). What I can say (based on my hands-on time with the watch) is that it's a major upgrade if you're opting for the 45mm version. The battery life on the 41 Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 was a struggle, but the boost in battery life is likely to be my favorite new feature. I did an analysis on the Pixel 3 Watch life specs: https://www.theshortcut.com/p/google-pixel-watch-3-battery-life

Your article states "When I first reviewed the Galaxy Pixel Watch two years ago," but a Galaxy Pixel watch was never a thing. Pixel Watch has always been a Google standalone separate from Samsung and it's Galaxy line.

Oops! Yes, I meant *Google* Pixel Watch instead of "Galaxy Pixel Watch." You're right – that's never been a thing. Galaxy has been on my mind having just reviewed Samsung's watch. Fixed it in the web version. Thanks for your help and reading so closely.

What can you do with the free data and, more importantly, what can't you do? Will it tell me I have a new text or a phone call?
