Well I was looking forward to an all-new AMD socket and chipsets (DDR5!) later this year, but -- the psychological benefit of buying silicon manufactured in the US would be worth waiting for ... assuming GF's production in New York includes consumer desktop parts.
Also bodes well for the automotive supply chain, which appears to have finally slid past the nadir of woe these last thirty months. I've been checking daily the inventory of the dealer I bought a car from, and new units have been PS5-scarce, with some models unavailable for weeks or longer. Hopefully this welcome trend of recovery will continue ...
