Amazon Black Friday deals: this deals season is amazing already
Black Friday is November 25, but Black Friday Amazon deals are already appearing
Black Friday Amazon deals are already live, even though the official date for the shopping holiday (or whatever it is) is still two weeks away on November 25. But, while it is still technically early, you can get a head start on your holiday shopping with some of these deals.
But don’t let the early run date fool you. There are a ton of Black Friday deals already available, and some of them are pretty dang good, too. I’ll be keeping an eye on the massive retailer throughout the Black Friday shopping season and cutting through the chaff to bring you only the best deals, so you can spend less time shopping and more time with your family.

Apple
Apple Airpods Pro (2nd Generation)
Normal price: $249
Current Amazon price: $229
Discount: $20 off (save 8%)
While there’s a Black Friday Walmart deal on the first-generation AirPods Pro, Amazon has a tidy little discount on the newest model, dropping the price down to its lowest ever, at $229, a $20 discount.
That’s not a huge price cut (though it’s already better than the $15 discount of just a couple of days ago), but if you have an Apple fan on your holiday shopping list that absolutely must have the newest noise-canceling AirPods to pair with their iPhone 14, you might as well save a little cash. If you’re on the fence I can tell you this from comparing them to the 1st generation: noise cancellation is much better, bass is far richer, and being able to precisely locate them with FindMy (or by making the case’s built-in speaker chirp) is a massive quality of life improvement if you’ve had issues losing your AirPods in the past.
AirPods (2nd Generation)
Normal Price: $119
Current Amazon price: $89
Discount: $30 off (save 25%)
AirPods (2nd Generation), at just $89, might be the best deal of all the AirPods – if your ears let them stay in. With voice control, tap controls for pausing, summoning Siri, skipping forward or backward and automatic switching between Apple devices, they have all the core features that make this product line so great. They also have the best case for idle fiddling, in my opinion. If you don’t care about all the other features and just want something that sounds nice, isn’t too expensive, and works with all your Apple products, you could do worse than getting these AirPods for a price I’ve only seen twice before.
Apple Watch Series 8 41mm (GPS + Cellular)
Normal price: $499
Current Amazon Price: $449
Discount: $50 off (save 10%)
The best deal on the Apple Watch Series 8 right now is for the 41mm cellular version of the watch, which is $50 off right now at Amazon – although it’s likely to drop even lower. Only days ago, it sat briefly at $389, and I would expect it to hit that price again when the holiday gets into full swing. At that price though, during the feeding frenzy that is Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I wouldn’t expect stock to last long, and it’s probable that the Apple Watch will return to a higher price than even its current discount, so if you’re looking to get a new one and think you’ll be busy come the holiday weekend, now is still a good time.
iPad Mini
Normal price: $499
Current Amazon price: $399
Discount: $100 off (save 20%)
Apple’s adorable 8.3-inch iPad Mini is currently $100 off for the Graphite and Purple colors. This edition of the iPad comes with the same powerful A15 bionic chip beating at the heart of the iPhone 14 Pro models, has TouchID built into the power button, and features a 12MP wide camera on the back and a 12MP ultra wide on the front, which is compatible with Center Stage, Apple’s feature that lets the camera follow you when you’re on FaceTime.
2022 13” M2 MacBook Pro
Normal price: $1,299
Current Amazon price: $1,149
Discount: $150 (12%)
The last part of the MacBook line that still has a TouchBar, the 2022 13” MacBook Pro, discounted to $1,149, is a relic of the last generation of MacBooks, but with one crucial difference: under the hood, it packs the latest Apple custom silicon chip, the M2, making it one of the most powerful computers in the company’s line-up. It’s currently on sale for $150 off and has been since the beginning of November. Keep an eye out here, as it’s possible it could drop even lower during Black Friday.
2022 13” M2 MacBook Air
Normal price: $1,499
Current Amazon price: $1,349
Discount: $150 off (save 10%)
If you’re looking to get the 512GB SSD version of the 2022 M2 MacBook Air – which I think should be the minimum configuration for this laptop, anyway – it’s on sale for just $1349 at Amazon. As powerful as the M2 13” MacBook Pro in short bursts (it’s fanless, so it can’t cool itself actively and must throttle during sustained load to keep from overheating), Apple’s new ultra-thin MacBook Air is something to behold. This price point matches the lowest we’ve seen for it, but considering it’s hit this price at least four times in the past few months, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it drop lower for Black Friday next week.
2021 14” M1 MacBook Pro
Normal price: $1,999
Current Amazon price: $1,599
Discount: $400 off (save 20%)
The base 512GB SSD configuration of the 2021 14” MacBook Pro is no stranger to its current price point, which it hit for the first time shortly after the M2 MacBook Air debuted, much to my chagrin, as I’d already ordered a specced-up version of that laptop. It dropped to the $1,599 again at the beginning of this month, and remains a great buy, thanks for its 120Hz display, whisper-quiet fan and cool-to-the-touch operation, as well as its all-day battery life. It’s possible it’ll drop further for Black Friday, but we’ll have to wait and see.
2021 16” M1 MacBook Pro
Normal price: $2,499
Current Amazon price: $1,999
Discount: $500 off (save 20%)
The 16” M1 MacBook Pro just dropped to $1,999, making it the first time ever this laptop has gone below the $2,000 line. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this deal disappear very soon, so if you’ve been itching to try out the biggest and baddest of the Apple custom silicon laptops, now is the time.
Televisions
55-inch Amazon Fire TV
Normal price: $429
Current Amazon price: $299
Discount: $220 (30% off)
At 30% off, the 55-inch Amazon Fire TV is the biggest television discount I’ve seen so far on Amazon’s website right now. Is it the TV you want? Well, it’s big and it’s cheap, so if those are your priorities, absolutely. Being a Fire TV, it packs the same interface as the Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube, as well as voice control via the Alexa remote. It even has a few nicer features like eARC, HDR10 and HLG support, though you won’t find Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos here.
75-inch Amazon Omni Fire TV
Normal price: $1,049 (with caveats, see below)
Current Amazon price: $749
Discount: $300 off (save 29%)
The $300 discount on this 75-inch Amazon Omni Fire TV is more of a return to form for this set than a true price drop, as it spent about six months of this year at that price before jumping to $849 in August and $1049 in late September. Still, $749 isn’t a bad price for a panel this big, and you’ll get support for Dolby Vision out of the deal, along with hands-free Alexa voice control, and, as noted by Rtings, excellent contrast.
65-inch Sony Bravia XR X90K Google TV
Normal price: $1,198
Current Amazon price: $998
Discount: $200 off (save 17%)
The now $998 Sony Bravia XR X90K is a stellar-looking full-array LED TV that offers local dimming for better contrast and slick motion processing. It’s also gamer ready with two HDMI 2.1 ports (in addition to its two HDMI 2.0 ports) supporting a 4K signal at 120Hz. Amazon exaggerates the discount, but at $998 it’s the cheapest this TV has been, making it a great deal leading into Black Friday.

Headphones
Sony noise-canceling wireless headphones (WHCH710N)
Normal price: $148
Current Amazon price: $68
Discount: $80 off (save 54%)
Pick up a pair of comfy over-ear cans from Sony when you get the WH-CH710N noise-canceling wireless headphones for just $68 at Amazon. These aren’t Sony’s best headphones, but they’re still very good if you like a nice, bassy tone, and I dare you to find something better at this price that’s not used or refurbished.
Beats Studio Buds
Normal price: $149
Current Amazon price: $99
Discount: $50 off (save 34%)
Beats Studio Buds carry many of the same features as the AirPods Pro 1st Generation (which Walmart has on sale right now) – noise canceling, transparency mode, easy auto-switching connection to your Apple devices – plus the bonus of multiple color options, the Beats Studio Buds are an excellent, cost-effective alternative to Apple’s premium wireless earbuds.
Bose Soundlink II wireless headphones
Normal price: $229
Current Amazon price: $149
Discount: $80 off (save 35%)
Pick up the Bose Soundlink II wireless Bluetooth headphones for a cheapest-ever price of $149 right now at Amazon. These headphones have been all over the place in price, but never quite this low. They might not have the fanciest features, but Rtings gave their sound and comfort level great marks, making them excellent home office headphones when you want quality audio and the convenience of Bluetooth without paying a premium for noise cancelation or voice assistants.

Think the M2 Macbook Air deal of $1049 is for the 256GB version, unless I missed it when it applied to the 512GB?
